Report summary

The Sichuan Basin is PetroChina's third largest gas producing region in its domestic portfolio and it is also one of the oldest with production dating back to the 1950s. The asset consists of cluster gas developments including Wolonghe, Moxi, Shapingchang, Dachiganjing, Wubaiti and Longgang. The main producing reservoirs are located in the Da'anzhai and Jialingjiang formations in the lower Jurassic and lower Triassic, respectively.
