Report summary
Skarv Satellites is a collection of oil and gas fields in the Voring Basin and Mid Norway. It consists of the Alve Nord, Idun Nord and Ørn fields. These discoveries are being developed in tandem as subsea tie-backs to the Skarv FPSO. The three developments (Alve Nord, Idun Nord and Ørn) were sanctioned in December 2022 and are expected to be brought onstream in Q3 2027. Production will be processed on the Skarv FPSO. Oil from the fields will be offshore loaded and exported by shuttle tankers. Rich gas will be transported via a pipeline to the Åsgard Transportation System (ÅTS) and onwards to the Kårstø terminal.
