The Sole Pit Area comprises the Barque, Barque South, Clipper and Skiff gas fields. The Sole Pit fields have been developed in phases. Clipper is the hub, and has six fixed bridge linked platforms. Phase I involved three platforms and was brought onstream in 1990. Phase II involved an extension to Barque and a separate structure known as Barque South.
