Report summary

Songnan is a cluster of gas fields in the Jilin Province northeast China. The gas bearing reservoir is characterised by volcanic rocks and the gas contains CO2 content. Sinopec Corp operates the gas field complex in the Songliao Basin and has built a gas processing plant. The gas is sold to the cities of Jilin Changchun and Siping within the province.
