The ten South Zagros fields are located onshore in southern Iran, with some fields situated in mountainous areas. They include three oil fields (Saadat Abad, Sarvestan, and Khesht) and seven gas fields (Aghar, Dalan, Kangan, Sarkhun, Gavarzin, Dey, and Nar). These fields are managed by the Iranian Central Oil Fields Company (ICOFC), a subsidiary of the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC).
