The substance of Eni's plans were unchanged at its most recent Capital Markets Day, but there were still plenty of updates and upgrades to digest. Achieving net zero across Scope 3 emissions by 2050 remains the driving force behind Eni's evolution. Diversification, innovation, flexibility, and stakeholder alliances remain the routes to achieve this. The company provided updates concerning most of these pillars as it gently accelerated the pace of its low-carbon transformation.
