Tatneft is the fifth largest oil producer in Russia Approximately 60% of Tatneft's annual production comes from Romashkinskoye which is the second largest oil field in Russia (after Samotlorskoye), and one of the top 10 globally. Romashkinskoye is now very mature and production is in decline from the Devonian layers, reducing gas production.
