Tethys Petroleum (Toronto and Kazakhstan-listed) operates the onshore Akkulkov, Kiziloi and Kul-Bas blocks. They are located in southwest Kazakhstan, to the northwest of the Aral Sea.The project comprises several oil and gas fields, including the producing Akkulkov and Kiziloi gas deposits, the Klymene and Kul-Bas oil fields.
