Time to revisit exploration in the Indian Sub-continent?

Developing domestic gas resources has becoming vital in the Indian Sub-continent as imports continue to increase. At the same time, domestic production has stagnated. To this effect, fiscal reforms are being undertaken to attract investors for planned and ongoing licensing rounds. But are these reforms enough to generate interest? We think these are positive changes but questions remain around the prospectivity.
