Report summary
The Timimoun fields are located in the Gourara basin in south west Algeria, approximately 550km south of the Hassi R'Mel field. The acreage (blocks 325a/329) was awarded to Total and Cepsa in July 2002 and after the seven year appraisal and exploration period, the partners were awarded a development licence for the seven fields on the block. Development work started in 2014. First gas is expected in 2017 and is planned to plateau for around ten years.The Timimoun ...
