Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) construction - the latest Southern Gas Corridor milestone
This report is currently unavailable
Report summary
The groundbreaking ceremony for the Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) was held on 17 May in Thessaloniki, Greece. With TAP construction starting on schedule, Europe’s Southern Gas Corridor is making progress along the entire US$45 billion value chain - from offshore Azerbaijan to Italy. There is now little doubt that this strategic supply corridor will be fully commissioned by 2020. However, commercial challenges have deepened in a lower oil and gas price outlook.
