Tullow exits Uganda to Total for US$575 million
Report summary
Tullow has entered into another Sales and Purchase Agreement (SPA) with Total in Uganda. This time, the UK Independent is set to sell its entire Uganda portfolio for a consideration of US$575 million. Total will pay US$500 million on deal completion and US$75 million at project sanction. There are further revenue-linked contingent payments after first oil, if Brent averages above US$62/bbl annually.
