Ungani

Report summary

Ungani is a conventional oil field in the remote onshore Canning Basin, around 80 kilometres east of Broome. The field was discovered by the Ungani-1 well in 2011. First oil was produced via an Extended Production Test (EPT) in May 2012 and trucked 2,500 km to Kwinana, south of Perth. Production was interrupted for nine months in 2013, as the operator worked over the producing wells. Crude is now trucked 900 kilometres and exported from the Wyndham Port.
