Achimov blocks IV and V (also known as 4A and 5A) cover deeper horizons of the super-giant Urengoiskoye gas field in the Nadym-Pur-Taz region of the West Siberia province. Achim Development, a JV between Gazprom and Wintershall Dea, operates the blocks. Unlike conventional dry gas produced from Cenomanian reservoirs, the Achimov blocks cover wet gas and condensate-rich Valanginian reservoirs at Urengoiskoye field.
