State-owned UzenMunaiGas (UMG) is a core production unit of NC KazMunaiGas (NC KMG), Kazakhstan's NOC. The large Uzen oil field is highly mature but remains one of Kazakhstan's key state-led upstream assets.UMG oil output is now just above 100,000 b/d, owing to a rehabilitation programme carried out on the largest fields.
