Volund
Report summary
The Volund field is in the Northern North Sea, 8 kilometres south of the Alvheim field, near the Norway and UK border. The field was developed as a subsea tie-back to the Alvheim Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) vessel. Oil is exported from the FPSO via shuttle tanker. Gas is transported via Alvheim and the SAGE pipeline to the St Fergus terminal in the UK.
