Report summary
The Wenchang Area complex, includes several oil and gas fields and is located in the Western South China Sea, 300 kilometres southwest of Hong Kong. The Haiyangshiyou 116 floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) serves the region. The Wenchang 19-1, 14-3, 8-3 and 15-1 fields were developed by five wellhead platforms, two at Wenchang 19-1 and one each at the other three fields. The Wenchang 19-1, 14-3 and 15-1 fields were linked to Haiyangshiyou 116.
