What will it take for Peru to fully realise its gas potential?
This report is currently unavailable
Report summary
With substantial gas reserves and a relatively small domestic gas market, Peru became the first South American country to produce LNG in 2010. While Peru LNG offers a market for 620 mmcfd of gas (4.3 mtpa), significant gas volumes in the Camisea area remain undeveloped due to pipeline capacity constraints and a lack of domestic demand.
