Report summary
The Wintershall Noordzee northern NGT fields consists of gas fields operated by Wintershall Noordzee tied in to the Noordgastransport (NGT) pipeline. They consist of four licences split within three groups; [L/5b, L/6b & L/6a], [L/8b] and [L/5c]. The L/5b & L/6b licence contains two high pressure/high temperature (HP/HT) gas fields: L/5-B and L/5-C. The L/6a licence contains the L/6-B HP/HT field. This started producing in 2015 from a single production well on a minimal unmanned platform tied back to the L/8-P4 platform. The L/8b licence contains a small gas field, L/8-P, which was developed as a satellite to the gas processing facilities on the L/8a licence. The L/5c licence was granted in 1996 to the L/8b partners, for the extension of the L/8-P4 field in block L/5. Although the partners are the same as in the L/8b licence, the state participation in the licence is lower.
