This report is currently unavailable
Report summary
On 19 August 2014, the WTI Cushing to WTI Midland differential reached US$21/bbl, its widest gap since 1991. Historically, the differential has only been about US$1/bbl. Surging crude oil supply from the Permian coupled with limited takeaway capacity has driven a wedge in this differential.
