This analysis covers the redevelopment of the Yme field. The field had two previous development phases - only one of which was successful. Yme consists of a small cluster of oil fields located in the southeastern part of the Norwegian North Sea. Output from the original Yme development commenced in 1996 and initially ceased in 2001, after it produced 51 million barrels of oil - much higher than early expectations.
