Zapolyarnoye is a super-giant oil, gas and condensate field that lies in the prolific Nadym-Pur-Taz region of Russia. Zapolyarnoye became Russia's largest gas producing field in 2013, overtaking the traditional 'Big Three' gas fields in West Siberia - Medvezhye, Urengoiskoye, Yamburgskoye.The field came onstream in 2001, with initial development targeting the Cenomanian horizon.
