2021 has been a long year, no doubt made to appear protracted by the seemingly never-ending pandemic which looks set to extend into a third year, and even a fourth one. But the polyester chain looks determined to put behind all the pessimism seen in much of 2020 and early 2021. Going into 2022, there are uncertainties ahead, and there are headwinds which may dampen or even halt the polyester growth story.
