Balangan coal mine

Report summary

Balangan is a low rank coal mine located approximately 250 kilometres north of Banjarmasin and 11 kilometers south east of Adaro's Tutpan operation. The mine is majority owned and operated by Adaro. The project comprises of three IUP licenses PT Semestra Centra Mas and PT Paramitha Cipta Sarana which are both twenty year operation IUP licenses awarded in 2009, and PT Laskar Semesta Alam which is an exploration IUP license awarded in 2008.
