Cerrolargo Sur is a currently suspended coal mine located in Colombia's Cesar Department owned by Colombia Natural Resources (CNR), a wholly-owned subsidiary of American Consolidated Natural Resources (ACNR). It sits in the south block of the Cerrolargo anticline, southwest of the La Jagua syncline. The mine will be a surface operation which will utilise typical truck-and-shovel mining methods to produce a low-ash, low-sulphur and high-energy content bituminous thermal coal.
