Wolverine Perry Creek is an idled metallurgical coal mine in Canada's Peace River Valley which normally produces a high quality mid volatile hard coking coal for international markets. Walter Energy announced on 15 April 2014 that the mine would be idled immediately a direct result of persistently weak metallurgical coal markets.
