Italy energy markets long-term outlook H2 2015
Report summary
Demand in Italy is expected to decline over the forecast from 147 Mtoe in 2015 to 134 Mtoe in 2035. Total energy demand is not expected to recover to pre-recession levels as a result of a sustained decline in the energy consumption in the industrial and transport sectors. By 2020, gas demand will overtake oil as the most important fuel in the supply mix.
