As coronavirus case numbers continue to grow across Europe, many countries are tightening and extending containment measures to limit the spread. Our weekly update includes a refresh of our Pan-Europe report and detailed country reports for Germany, UK, Italy, France, Spain, Netherlands and Belgium - which together account for over 70% of European gas demand. Extending the loss of gas demand since lockdowns from pre-coronavirus projections over a three-month period, we estimate 16.9 bcm of lost gas demand in 2020 from the markets covered.
