The outlook for European indigenous gas supply has deteriorated significantly over the last year with the announced closure of Groningen, Europe's largest gas field. However, there's still significant discovered gas resource in Europe and corporate interest also remains strong, from the international majors through to utilities and smaller, more focused E&Ps.
