Asia is the world's fastest-growing gas and LNG market. However, the Middle East conflict has disrupted LNG supply chains and increased energy security risks, weakening short-term demand growth as buyers face supply issues and higher prices across the region. Despite short term uncertainty, Asian gas demand grows by 40% until 2045, reaching 1,236 bcm, then plateaus before declining. Domestic supply peaks earlier at around 582 bcm in the 2030s and declines thereafter despite increased upstream activity. Asia's LNG demand will grow steadily through 2050, reaching 482 mtpa. The full report and dataset to 2060 are available in the downloads section and Lens Gas and LNG.
