Global gas markets long-term outlook H2 2018: Executive Summary
This report is currently unavailable
Report summary
Our global gas and LNG outlook continues to strengthen and there is overwhelming optimism in the global LNG industry. This is in spite of Asian prices softening through this winter and players coming to terms with the fact that 2019-2020 are going to be challenging years – perhaps unsurprisingly to our regular readers. However, the gap between LNG demand and supply looks increasingly strong post-2020. LNG developers are gearing up to take FIDs on more than 100 mmtpa of new capacity over the next 24 months. But is there going to be enough demand for all this supply by 2025?
