Global short-term LNG supply tracker (Q3 2021)
Report summary
Global LNG supply is still on track to grow +21 Mt in 2021. However strong differences in performance are emerging, particularly within the Atlantic basin. While peak maintenance takes place over May-August, several disruptions have limited output further through summer. Organic growth from new projects will return in 2022 – with new US trains making good progress and some backfill expected to boost output.
