Commodity Market Report
North America gas weekly update: Falling
Report summary
In many parts of the US, it still feels more like fall than winter, as below normal heating loads persist in the forecast. The prompt January 2022 NYMEX Henry Hub gas contract is falling, and with good reason. Production continues to surge, and along with the warmer weather, it may start to outpace increases in LNG feedgas demands. Will production continue to increase and create looser non-weather fundamentals?
