One last hurrah of summer heat has occurred to keep storage injections lower than normal. However, with the seasonal fall off of cooling degree days already beginning, power demand should start to precipitously decline. US gas production has again start to reverse course, but more curtailments will be necessary to keep pace this fall. This weekly natural gas commodity report seeks to explore: • How much are cooling degree days set to decrease? • Where is US gas production declining again? • How high will storage injections rise in the next few weeks?
