Report summary
Colder than normal weather has replaced the mild start to November. The severity of the current cold front blanketing most of the US may even result in November finalizing as a colder than average month overall. Despite the impending start to the winter withdrawal season, one last outsized weekly storage injection is in store to bring US Lower 48 storage almost perfectly into line with both the five-year average and last year. As we enter the winter withdrawal season next week the North America gas markets now ask: • Are the colder weather conditions set to persist into December? • When will Freeport LNG restart? • Will upcoming holiday seasons impact the market?
