Commodity Market Report
Brazil LNG long-term outlook 2015
Report summary
Petrobras operates three regas terminals along the coast of Brazil. LNG provides a flexible source of gas to ensure security of supply, complement demand seasonality and supplement power generation during droughts in Brazil's hydro-dominated market. While domestic gas production will grow over the long-term, LNG will still be required during peak demand periods.
