Report summary

Far East LNG is a liquefaction project proposed by Rosneft and ExxonMobil on Sakhalin Island (Russia's Far East). It was supposed to receive its gas from the Sakhalin-1 licence area which is operated by ExxonMobil under PSC terms. Sakhalin-1 is an offshore oil and gas development and the gas is sold to local markets, used on site or reinjected.
