Report summary
August TTF prices dropped 30 cents to $11.53; prices are declining tracking the drop in Northeast Asia DES as Asian demand wanes amid cooler weather forecasts. The TTF discount to Northeast Asian DES has decreased, making it less attractive for uncommitted cargoes to travel to Northeast Asia. European underground storage levels rose to 79.6%, which aligns with 2023 levels. Norway extended maintenance at the Karsto gas field by one day, ending on 11 July. As maintenance tapers the increased Gassco supply may lead to stronger supply fundamentals
