As September 2015, Lavaca Bay LNG Export report will no longer be updated following Excelerate announcing that it would no longer be pursuing development of the Lavaca Bay floating LNG (FLNG) export project. Excelerate launched the project in 2012 and was part-way through the environmental review required by the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) when it decided to withdraw its environmental application, effectively bringing the project to an end.
