Report summary
Price volatility was persistent throughout October. Conflict in the Middle East, possible pipeline sabotage in the Baltics and the threat of fresh Australian strike action supported rallying prices. Another last-minute agreement has removed the threat of strikes, however the situation elsewhere remains rapidly evolving. Asian LNG prices remained at a premium to European LNG prices in October, though spreads have tightened considerably following unease in Europe.
