Report summary

Construction of the Manzanillo LNG terminal began in July 2008. This followed a tender process launched by the Comision Federal de Electricidad (CFE) in June 2006 to build, own and operate the terminal for 20 years. In March 2008, CFE awarded a US$630 million contract to the Terminal KMS de GNL consortium. The consortium consists of Mitsui, Samsung and Kogas.
