Report summary
Rasgas is a joint venture established between Qatar Petroleum and ExxonMobil, for the operation and marketing of 37 mmtpa of liquefaction capacity in Qatar. With its sister company Qatargas; it is currently the largest supplier of LNG in the world. There is an informal arrangement between RasGas and Qatargas in terms of the split of long-term sales customers. RasGas has long-term sales contracts with buyers in South Korea, India, Taiwan, Italy, Belgium and Spain.
