The Dabhol terminal was pioneered by Enron as the first integrated LNG and power project in India. Enron completed the first phase of the power project in 1995 and initially ran the first unit on naphtha. Enron's subsidiary, the Dabhol Power Company, signed two supply contracts - one with Oman LNG for 1.6mmtpa between 2001-2021 and a second with ADGAS for 0.48 mmtpa over the same timeframe.
