Report summary
Saros FSRU is an operational regasification terminal in the Gulf of Saros, off the northwest coast of Turkey. It started operation in February 2023 with a regasification capacity of 4.9 mmtpa (6.7 bcm/yr). The construction of the terminal began in November 2020. Despite facing environmental opposition due to its location in an ecologically sensitive area, the project proceeded and was completed in early 2023.
