Wuhaogou is a peak-shaving facility built by Shanghai Natural Gas Pipeline Network Company, a subsidiary of Shenergy Group. It was built in 1999, with a 70,000-m3/h vaporiser and a 20,000-m3 storage tank. An expansion to better manage Shanghai's seasonal gas demand was completed in late 2008 and increased regas capacity to 0.5 mmtpa.
