Agnew (Lawlers) gold mine
Report summary
The Agnew mine is located in the Eastern Goldfields region of Western Australia, 23 kilometres west of Leinster and 375 kilometres north of Kalgoorlie. The mine is 100% owned by Gold Fields Limited, and is integrated with the adjacent Lawlers mine which was acquired from Barrick in October 2013. The combined operation is known as Agnew (Lawlers). Ore is sourced from both underground and surface operations and processed in a 1.3 Mtpa capacity carbon-in-pulp plant.
