Operated by Century Lithium, Angel Island (former Clayton Valley) is a lithium mineral project located in Nevada, United States. The project is located 6 km from the Silver Peak lithium brine facility, and is one of several targeting sedimentary-type lithium deposits in the Clayton Valley. Mineralisation occurs in association with illite and smectite clays. The current reserve estimate is 213.3 Mt grading at 1,129 ppm Li, which can support a mine life of 40 years. Wood Mackenzie’s asset reports are built from the bottom up, incorporating several granular data metrics to ultimately produce our industry-standard cash operating costs. This report contains a detailed asset note giving you a holistic view of the asset, including an operational overview through to a timeline of events from inception to now.
