Atalaya zinc mine project
Report summary
Mitsui Mining decided in 2016 to stop the project and by September 2021 the project remained inactive. No exploration activity was carried out during 2017-2021. Based on this we estimate a speculative development date for this project for 2027. Wood Mackenzie’s asset reports are built from the bottom up, incorporating a number of granular data metrics to ultimately produce our industry standard cash operating costs.
