Caijiaying zinc mine
Report summary
The Caijiaying mine is a Zn-Pb-Ag-Au volcanogenic massive sulphide deposit, mined using predominantly longhole open stoping method. The mine has upgraded its mining and milling facilities in 2016 to increase production to 1.5Mt/a from 750kt/a. Sufficient resources exist to sustain production at this level.
