Carrapateena is an iron-oxide copper gold (IOCG) mine in South Australia, approximately 250 kilometres south-east of OZ Minerals' Prominent Hill mine. Copper-gold ore is mined using underground sub-level caving method, with onsite processing by crushing, grinding and flotation to produce a copper-gold concentrate with silver credits. First saleable concentrate was produced in December 2019.
